First, you'll want to gather your supplies. You'll need a bowl of hot water, a mild dish soap, a toothbrush, and a soft cloth. You'll also need a cooler space to work in- an amethyst geode can be easily damaged by direct sunlight or excessive heat.
Begin by carefully rinsing your amethyst geode under hot water. If there is any dirt or grime on the surface, use the toothbrush to gently scrub it away. Next, create a solution of hot water and dish soap in the bowl and submerge your amethyst geode in it. Let it soak for 10-15 minutes before removing it and rinsing it with clean water.
Once your amethyst geode is clean, dry it off with the soft cloth. If it's still wet, set it in the cooler space to air dry. Once it's completely dry, you can place it back in its original location or in a new spot that you think would look nice!
